After college in China, Seeya worked as a social compliance specialist, ensuring the wellbeing of workers in different industries for eight years in China. She then traveled for a year in New Zealand, where she became acquainted with anthroposophy and the Waldorf school system. In 2012, Seeya moved to the US and joined Camphill Village in Copake, where she currently resides with her husband Nico Christiansen and their young son Kilian.
Seeya has been running the Village Weavery since 2014, and a house leader in Undina‑one of the Village care houses‑since 2016. Seeya completed the Camphill Academy’s social therapy program with a professional diploma in social therapy following five years of required study in 2017. Seeya’s years in Camphill Village have been transformative; she has learned more about herself, spiritual life, and fellow human beings than she ever thought possible. Seeya is currently a member of the Focus Group, one of the decision-making bodies in Camphill Village. |
