Bill Vogt has served on the board and/or committees of Camphill Copake since 2005. He was the first board president of Camphill Ghent and is on the board of Camphill Village Copake Foundation.
He is a member of the finance committee of the Town of Stockbridge and was the chairman of its planning board. He is a member of the Berkshire Hills Regional School District committee, as well as a member of the board of the body studying the merger of the Berkshire Hills RSD with the Southern Berkshire RSD. |
He is a board member and former chairman of Hancock Shaker Village.
Before moving to the Berkshires in 2002 he worked for 30 years at JPMorgan Chase & Co. He had management positions in corporate and municipal finance and in private banking. He worked in New York, Tokyo, Hong Kong, Lagos and London and retired as a managing director.
Bill earned an A.B. degree from Georgetown. He joined the U.S. Army in 1968 and left as a captain in 1972. He married Diane in 1972. They have three children and five grandchildren.
