Amanda joined Camphill Ghent as the Executive Director in 2023. Before joining she worked at a local non-profit for 17 years serving in a variety of roles. Originally from Southern Maryland, she’s lived in Columbia County for the past 18 years.

In her more than 20 years of professional nonprofit experience, Amanda has worked with individuals who are marginalized and disadvantaged by society. Her advocacy and deduction have led to the development of many community initiatives and projects that prioritize equality, inclusion, and meaningful living. Amanda holds a bachelor of science in Human Services from SUNY Empire State College and a master of science in Management and Leadership from Western Governors University.

Amanda serves on several boards of directors, including the Mental Health Association of NYS, the NYS Peer Specialist Certification Board, the Columbia County Community Services Board, and many local organizations. She lives in Hudson with her husband, two kids, and her black lab.
